About Furst Bismarck
Otto Eduard Leopold, Prince of Bismarck, Duke of Lauenburg, known as Otto von Bismarck, was a conservative Prussian statesman who dominated German and European affairs from the 1860s until 1890. Bismarck's family owned a grain distillery founded in 1799. Since then, Fürst Bismarck has been producing German grain spirit (Korn) of premium quality. Connoisseurs value the clarity of Fürst Bismarck and its unmistakable pure and mild character.

Korn (translates from German to grain) is a German colorless distilled beverage that is usually made from fermented rye but may also be made from barley or wheat. Korn differs from vodka in that it is distilled to lower alcoholic proofs and less rigorously filtered, which leaves more of the grain taste in the finished spirit.

Korn is usually drunk neat (without water). In parts of Germany, korn is ordered in combination with beer and is called a Herrengedeck (which translates to "gentlemen's set price drink").
