Hitachino Nest Beer Glass From Japan

The glass comes from on the first craft beer producers in Japan and is made famous by their Owl logo. Craft beer brewing wasn't allowed in Japan until a law change in 1996. The Kiuchi Brewery was one the first to market and uses a unique blend of Japanese tradition (the company has produce sake since 1812) and European brewing techniques. This glass is made for their White ale or Nest Beer which one of the only beers to be aged in shochu casks. The glass is decorated on two sides. One side has the famous Hitachino owl logo and the reverse side has the image of the Kiuchi Brewery. This is a unique glass to match this unique beer.

Features:
  • Brewery: Kiuchi Brewery
  • Country of Origin: Japan
  • Glass Type: Pilsner
  • Size: .3 liter or 10 ounce
  • Dimensions: 7.5 inches high

Perfect! Nice Glasses
These glasses are nice quality glass. The price is the best that I have found on the internet. On the back of the glass is a picture of the brewery, which was a nice bonus. It says in the description that it is a 10oz glass, but it holds a whole 12 oz can of beer, just barely!

Good Quality
These beers glasses hold one bottle of beer perfectly. The head comes right up to the rim and the smooth glass has the hitachino owl painted on it. The glasses are good thick glass- the only thing about these is the small diameter of the base- it does predispose the glass a bit more to tipping. These glasses are just as nice if not nicer to my Samuel Adams glasses
